Breaking changes

  • Removed of obsolete methods of button component in automation tests. (4997)
  • Entity view parameters of type Date are now of type DateOnly (instead of DateTime) in the C# code. (5048)
  • Moved authentication to the proxy level (development server in development, gateway in production). It is no longer necessary to regenerate the cluster after an authentication configuration change. See the authentication documentation to update the authentication configuration if needed. (5030)
  • The deletion behaviour for non-embedded collection items has changed.
    Previously, when clicking on a Delete button, a confirmation message was displayed and the item was immediately deleted by an API call to the server.
    Now, similarely to embedded collection items, they are locally deleted without confirmation message and only deleted on server side when saving.
    This will break integration tests that expect a confirmation message to be displayed when deleting a collection item or tests that do not expect to have to save before an item is deleted on server side.

  • Changed the Nuget / NPM packages feed :
    Neos packages are now in a public feed to ease the installation of the framework. It is no longer necessary to register to NPM / Nuget. Instead, it is only necessary to add the new public feed to Nuget by typing the followind command :

  • Removed the automatic width calculation of the form field containers which was used to limit the size of the validation message. This change improves performance when opening views and resizing but it can break some existing views when validation messages are displayed. Now, when you want to truncate long, you need to set a fixed width on the form field or on one of its parent elements in the UI template. (4877)
